Beginner’s Crochet returns to the Baumholder Library in 2026 with a series of free, hands‑on classes for community members ages 15 and older.

  • The workshop teaches the basics of crochet, including how to hold a hook and create simple stitches for a first project.
  • An instructor will guide participants through each step, and all materials will be provided.
  • This free class covers all the basics, patrons will have created a wonderful handmade piece they can be proud of.
  • These classes are for the absolute beginner and include everything you need for the class.

Three sessions are scheduled for 2026:

  • March 10, 17 and 24

  • June 9, 16 and 24

  • September 8, 15 and 22

Each class begins at 4 p.m.at the library. Class size is limited so be sure to sign up early.
