Come along with us to the incredible Mosel Valley!

This one of a kind excursion begins at Bernkastel-Kuse on a 11 km hike though the hills of the Mosel valley followed by a stop in town to grab a bite, switch gears and see the river valley like never before on a medium rated bike ride that stretches just 28.5 km past the St. Josef Chapel, Panorama road for great photo opportunities, and beautiful vineyards.  An enchanting way to enjoy a Sunday and get to know other enthusiasts.  

Your first choice in everything Outdoor Recreation!  Whether your jumping in with us at Baumholder or Kaiserslautern, you'll enjoy this first Hike & Bike tour of it's kind when your adventure begins at Army Outdoor Recreation!

Price:

  • $79 For children between the ages of 12-16 years old
  • $99 For adults 16 and up

Trip Includes:

  • Round trip van transportation
  • Bike Rental at the ODR location of your booking
  • Helmet
  • Guided Hike & Bike tours on the Mosel
  • Lunch is at the customers expense while in the town center following the hike

What to Bring:

  • Weather suitable clothing for both activities
  • Backpack for hydration sources/Snacks/Change of clothing for transitioning from one activity to the next.
  • Euros/Credit and or Debit card
  • Military ID
  • Sunscreen/Sunglasses
  • Epipen and or Bee Sting Kit if required

6 a.m from Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation, Pulaski Barracks. Bldg 2905

7 a.m. from Baumholder Outdoor Recreation, Wagon Wheel Theater.

Return:

7 p.m. Baumholder, Wagon Wheel Theater

8 p.m. Kaiserslautern, Pulaski Barracks, Bldg 2905

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations requested 48 hours prior to trip departure will receive a 90% refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to departure will receive a 50% refund.
  • There is no refund for no-shows or cancellations made less than 12 hours prior to departure.
     
  • In the event that a customer cancellation results in a fee charged to Outdoor Recreation, regardless of the date of or reason for that cancellation, the total sum of those fees will be passed along to the customer.
