The Cochem Christmas Market is a charming and festive event held annually in the picturesque town of Cochem, located along the Moselle River in Germany. Typically taking place from late November through December, the market attracts both locals and visitors who come to enjoy the holiday spirit amidst the beautiful backdrop of Cochem’s historical architecture and the famous Reichsburg Cochem castle.

The market features a variety of wooden stalls selling handmade crafts, seasonal decorations, and traditional holiday gifts. Visitors can indulge in delicious seasonal treats such as roasted chestnuts, gingerbread, and mulled wine (Glühwein), which create a warm and inviting atmosphere.

On our way home, we will stop by Bernkastel-Kues's quaint Christmas Market. Nestled in the heart of Germany's Moselle Valley, the Bernkastel-Kues Christmas Market transforms its medieval old town into a festive wonderland each winter.  As the region's largest Advent calendar- Where a window opens daily to reveal a surprise winter themed caricature. With its half-timbered houses aglow and carols echoing through the alleys, it's a truly magical holiday experience.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations requested 48 hours prior to trip departure will receive a 90% refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to departure will receive a 50% refund.
  • There is no refund for no-shows or cancellations made less than 12 hours prior to departure.
  • In the event that a customer cancellation results in a fee charged to Outdoor Recreation, regardless of the date of or reason for that cancellation, the total sum of those fees will be passed along to the customer.
