The Hall of Champions Physical Fitness Center is hosting the New Year, New You Fitness Program from Jan. 23 to Jan. 30 at the fitness center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks.
Registration is at the initial weigh-in, which is Jan. 23 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Challenge includes:
- Expert fitness advice (form, technique, how to increase your personal level of fitness)
- 7-day nutritional guidelines, advice, & diets provided, includes:
New years new you 7-day diet guidelines | How to find the excesses/deficiencies in your diet | How to cleanse & detox | The basics of intermittent fasting
- Several fitness classes will be provided throughout the 7-day challenge, includes:
HIIT classes | 3-mile challenge | self-guided fitness challenge
- Mind-body exercise classes and lectures include:
What is Meditation & How to properly meditate | Meditation stretching routines for injury prevention
The final weigh-in is Jan. 30 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Participants must be 18 years older.
- This is a seven-day program.
- First Place prize is a “Fitbit Watch.”
- A self-guided personal fitness schedule will also be provided throughout the challenge with accountability check-ins daily.
