This charming hotel has all the modern amenities and features expected by Department of Defense travelers on official business, as well as military members and their Families traveling on Permanent Change of Station orders. Retirees and Military Families can also make reservations when the facilities are not required for official travelers!

Baumholder Java Café is all about convenience and quick service. We Proudly Serve Starbucks Coffee. The java gives way to other treats throughout the day, with frosty specialties, baked goods, sandwiches, and crisp salads.  The Java Cafe in Baumholder offers great specialty hot and cold drinks, healthy food options with a comfy lounge for socializing and free WiFi. Ask about the local punch-card program!

The Tavern on the Rock is a newly renovated, modern bar that presents a laid-back atmosphere with an upscale feel and look. The "Tavern", located within the Rheinlander Community Club, offers a variety of great foods and beverages, all in one place. The ever-popular Trivia Night takes place every Thursday from 6 - 9 p.m. as does Burgers and Pizza Night is Thursdays starting at 5:00 p.m. Enjoy a burger with fries and coleslaw for $15, or a pepperoni and cheese pizza for $11. Karaoke at The Tavern takes place every Saturday from 9:00 pm - 2:00 am.

The Warrior Zone in Baumholder on Smith Barracks is a modern multi-purpose entertainment center for Soldiers to socialize, relax, play video games, and card games.  Troops gather to watch sporting events on large, high-definition, flat-screen TVs, while eating, gaming and mingling. The Warrior Zone offers computers for customer use and free Wifi, daily movies played through a home theater set up and food and beverages for purchase (on site or close by).

The multi-faceted, multi-functional Rheinlander Community Club conveniently located on Smith Barracks in Baumholder offers a wide variety of entertainment and opportunities for community members under one roof. The popular Tavern on the Rock bar holds a number of regular monthly events and special show bookings and for military community residents looking for a venue to host a large function or celebration the Rheinlander is the best location in Baumholder to do it! Catering services can be requested through the business office at the facility.
