Celebrate the harvest at Bad Dürkheim’s world famous Wurstmarkt!

What on earth is a Wurstmarkt? Literally a “sausage market”, the Bad Dürkheim Wurstmarkt is a wine festival, and is the main event of the year in Rhineland-Pfalz, and is one of the largest, most traditional and entertaining public festivals in Germany. Have a seat in the wine stalls, or “wheelbarrows” as they are referred to by the locals, and choose from over 150 different wines from over 50 different local wineries, ranging from the mellow Riesling to the finest ice-wine, all of which will be served in a traditional half-liter glass!

Whether riding one of many carnival rides, shopping at some of the local booths, or sampling a variety of savory sausages, this festival will leave a fine flavor in your mouth! Reserve your space with Baumholder Outdoor Recreation today!
