Family and MWR Fitness, Athletics and Aquatics Program staff are hosting an Independence Day 5k Fun Run July 4 from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Hall of Champions Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder.
Registration starts at 8 a.m. at the Hall of Champions Physical Fitness Center. The run starts right at 9 a.m.
The 5k Fun Run will include categories for adults, kids, people with dogs, and people with strollers. There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals for: Adult male and female categories and youth 17 & under, male and female categories. There will only be one 1st place medal for stroller pushers, and one 1st place medal for runners with dogs.
