Annual Independence Day on the Rock
Celebrate America's independence by attending the Independence Day on the Rock celebration June 30 from 6 to 10 p.m., and July 1 from 3:30 to 11 p.m. at the Wagon Wheel Theater, Bldg. 8125 and Hall of Champions Fitness Center parking lot, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder.
The event will feature live music in the big fest tent, many typical food selections offered by MWR, FRGs and private orgs.
A big variety of activities for children, youth and adults will be offered, to include bouncy castles, Car Show, fire truck and police car static displays, CYS-operated activity stations, such as facepainting, crafts, and more. Fireworks will start at about 10:30 p.m. on July 1 on Minick Field. The event ends right after the fireworks.
Friday, June 30
- 6 p.m.: Willy Pete Band Performance (Fest Tent)
- 8 p.m.: Southbound Rebellion Performance (Fest Tent)
Saturday, July 1
- 3:30 p.m.: Car Show (see registration details regarding registration)
- 4 p.m.: Beer Keg Tapping Ceremony (Fest Tent)
- 7:30 p.m.: AFE Breland Performance (Fest Tent)
- 9:15 p.m. AFE Tyler Farr Performance (Fest Tent)
- 10:30 p.m. Fireworks (Minick Field)

Cost
$10 entry fee per car entered into the Car Show.
Registration Information
Those wanting to participate in the car show can register at any Automotive Skills Center (Baumholder, Landstuhl, or Pulaski.)
Trophies will be awarded for 1st through 3rd place.
