Surrounded by the high mountains of the Bernese Alps, Interlaken has something for everyone. In Interlaken you will have the opportunity to participate in any leisure adventure you can imagine. Relax on the lake shore, ride the First Flyer zipline or go mountain biking in Grindelwald, hike to your choice of 72 waterfalls in the beautiful Lauterbrunnen valley, paraglide into the “Heart of Switzerland”, take the cablecar to Piz Gloria, the world famous restaurant high on the Schilthorn and filming location for the James Bond movie “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” or ride the train to Jungfraujoch and the “Top of Europe”, over 3400 meters above sea level.

Price: 

  • Early Bird Registration 14 or more days prior to departure: $99 per person
  • Full Price registration 13 or fewer days prior to departure: $119 per person

Trip Includes:

  • Round trip bus transportation
    • Drop offs in Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen

What to Bring:

  • Comfortable, weather appropriate clothing and shoes
  • Credit/debit card or Euro or Swiss Francs
  • Military ID and Passport

Departure:

  • 1 a.m. from Wagon Wheel Theater, Smith Barracks
  • 2 a.m. from Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation, Pulaski Barracks, bldg. 2905

Return: Around 1 a.m. on Sunday morning

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations requested 48 hours prior to trip departure will receive a 90% refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to departure will receive a 50% refund.
  • There is no refund for no-shows or cancellations made less than 12 hours prior to departure.
     
  • In the event that a customer cancellation results in a fee charged to Outdoor Recreation, regardless of the date of or reason for that cancellation, the total sum of those fees will be passed along to the customer.
