The Easter holidays with Easter traditions herald the start of the new year of events and welcome spring. The whole family is invited to take a look around selected market and craft stalls and enjoy entertainment, craft activities and egg painting in the historic grounds of the romantic moated castle. Children's program, entertainment and large market on both days of the market, the Easter bunnies will be hopping around looking for eggs with the children from 1 pm to 5 pm. Many other small and large bunnies will have all kinds of Easter surprises in store. A brand-new feature this year is the Easter bunny workshop. Here, all children are invited to join the bunnies in making and crafting. Children can ride the colorful historical carousel in the manor house. Meanwhile, parents can browse the numerous market and craft stalls in peace and quiet. Culinary delicacies provide for the physical well-being.

Price:

  • $79 per person for adults and $59 for children under 12

Departure: 8 a.m. from Baumholder Outdoor Recreation, Smith Barracks, Wagon Wheel Theater Parking Lot and 7 a.m. from Pulaski Barracks Bldg. 2905.

Return: Around midnight

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations requested 48 hours prior to trip departure will receive a 90% refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to departure will receive a 50% refund.
  • There is no refund for no-shows or cancellations made less than 12 hours prior to departure.
     
  • In the event that a customer cancellation results in a fee charged to Outdoor Recreation, regardless of the date of or reason for that cancellation, the total sum of those fees will be passed along to the customer.
