After a guided tour through the castle, you will experience a rustic knight's meal in the castle cellar. As a welcome drink, the “Burggraf” will serve you Moselle wine in a stone mug and give you an introduction to the old table manners and customs. Servants and Maids in historical robes serve you like a prince and give you water to wash your hands so that the "Speys" can be taken with your fingers in an appetizing way. You will start off with Bread and lard, along with hot soup is steaming kettle. The main course is grilled legs and pork knuckles.

Medieval singers or musicians with historical garb will provide entertainment and stylish music. Old "punitive instruments" are demonstrated and the highlight is the traditional accolade.

You end the meal with cheese, grapes and biscuits. Then servant will bring the water buckets trough so you can wash your hands after a very hands on meal.

Even if you have traveled around the world and dined in the simplest or most exclusive restaurants, this way of feasting will inspire you. Let yourself be inspired and embark on a journey back to the middle of time when the Governor calls out to his servants and maids.

The meal in the style of the old knights is a sociable event that lasts 4 hours.
