SKIES Unlimited Youth Archery

SKIESUnlimited Summer Adventure Program offers archery lessons in partnership with Baumholder Outdoor Recreation.

Students will learn all the fundamentals of archery, including proper stance, nocking the arrow, setting the arrow, draw and load, anchor, transfer and hold, aim and expand, release, and follow through.

Archery is also a great sport for building children's confidence. The feeling of drilling a bull’s eye or executing a great shot builds self-esteem and develops a sense of accomplishment. Archery is also great for improving focus, patience and even your children's math and science skills, as angles and physics are integral to success in the sport.

Skill Instructor and equipment included in cost. 

Ages 8+.

Parent will be responsible for dropping off and picking up their children from Baumholder Outdoor Recreation Shooting Range.

Students must report 30-minutes prior to each class to receive a safety briefing from the Baumholder Outdoor Recreation staff.
