German Hunting Course & Certification

Baumholder Outdoor Recreation offers you an opportunity to earn your certification to hunt in Germany for only 10% of what a similar course would cost on the economy!

The German Hunting Course is an intensive course that covers all facets of hunting in Germany. During this course, participants will learn land management, game disease and harvest plans. As well as, earn the right to hunt and own firearms.

Registration Deadline: September 8

Course Runs: September 8-December 14

Class Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays (not on 4-days): 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Participants must attend all classes offered in order to progress toward certification.

This course involves:

Field trips
Drive hunts
Field maintenance on the reserve
Trap and Skeet Range and long rifle qualification

All books are supplied and the course culminates in taking a German proctored exam. Once the exam is successfully completed, participants will be awarded a certificate of completion 215-145E*.

Open to all hunters, ages 18 and older
Open to U.S. citizens

Black Forest Tour

Spend the day in Germany's famous Black Forest! What better place to see than Triberg Germany. Start off with a hike to one of Germany's tallest waterfalls. From there we will head into Triberg where you can soak up all the village has to offer. Enjoy multiple Cuckoo clock shops to include the infamous House of 1,000 Clocks. A trip to Titisee‑Neustadt centers on the serene beauty of Titisee Lake and the lively charm of the Seestraße promenade. The Seestraße is known as one of the most picturesque promenades in the region, offering plenty of places to sit, enjoy the view, and soak in the easygoing lakeside vibe, or even renting a paddle boat. In the event that a customer cancellation results in a fee charged to Outdoor Recreation, regardless of the date of or reason for that cancellation, the total sum of those fees will be passed along to the customer.
